ORANGE DAY

SPA II - 1

handed in homework (SALUDOS p. 150 Ej 1 & 2) - studied vocab on p. 146-147 of SALUDOS and made a list of all words, Spanish on the left, English definitions to the right using the glossary in the back of the book or a dictionary from the shelf - used the phrase 'ir a + INFINITIVE' to write three complete sentences in Spanish describing what you are going to do tonight ('esta noche') - used vocab list and p. 149 as a guide to describe what you are wearing. Ex: "Llevo una camisa roja." (don't forget that adjectives must agree with their nouns!)

homework: make a drawing that incorporates every color on p. 149 and label all the colors

SPA IV - 1

reading and translation of the "Asturias" article on p. 18 in UNA MIRADA A ESPANA: took turns reading and, after every paragraph, translated - prepared vocab for the reading on "Las Provincias Vascongadas": split up the words evenly but made sure everyone copied down definitions so that each person has his own list - worked on projects - Again, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reading the article in UNA MIRADA A ESPANA for your city!

homework: read "
Las Provincias Vascongadas"
